Our jobs as Speech-Language Pathologists have changed over the last decade.
We get it. SLPs are incredibly busy professionals who need answers immediately when confronted with difficult situations. We need materials that have been field-tested and actually work. We need a place to ask questions and get expert advice. We need continuing education hours each year that actually help us grow professionally and help us make a difference.
That's why SLP IMPACT is loaded with therapy materials, videos, and opportunities to keep on learning! Let's face it, our field is broad and there is always more to learn. Let's make it fun. Let's make it real. Let's make an impact!

"How To" Videos with Downloads to Share with Parents and Colleagues
There are SLPs who dismiss huge numbers of students each year. Some SLPs are able to test and write up an evaluation within a few hours. Other SLPs easily navigate contentious IEP meetings and are loved by teachers and parents. And the best of us do it all.
How? How? How?
Two years of graduate school was not enough time to learn everything that we need to know, let alone do it well. The Speech Pathology Master Classes explore high-impact strategies related to diagnostics, treatment, referrals, dismissals, professional relations, and ethical dilemmas.
Master Classes Include:
Earn ASHA CEUs while driving in your car, eating, or working between sessions. These fast and exceptional calls feature answers to the questions asked by you and thousands of SLPs who subscribe to the Speech Therapy Blog.
Our field is broad and complex-- and the amount of work we are expected to do at times is shocking.
In these monthly Q & A sessions we get to have conversations about the things we know to be true about our field but don't get a chance to discuss in the clinical or conference setting. These are the intricate discussions about things we experience in our settings but don't always get a chance to talk to colleagues about.
Just received a child with a cleft palate on your caseload? Need to show a parent how to help their child say 2-word utterances? Have a student who can't retain new vocabulary? You've come to the right place.
We all have those situations where we need information YESTERDAY! These videos are designed to get you up and running immediately and support the parents, teachers, and other professionals involved in making a person's communication grow.
No two schedules are alike in the field of speech pathology. Plus, what you need to know this year might completely change next year when you get your new caseload.
That's why we have created over 40 paper-based and video-based courses that can be accessed anytime, anywhere.
Content presented in our courses and materials for assessments and intervention have been vetted by thousands of SLPs at conferences throughout the country. We know the materials really work because we have tested them on our own caseloads. They have also been downloaded over 300,000 times collectively from our posts on The Speech Therapy Blog.
Online Courses Include:
Ellen Kester,, Ph.D., CCC-SLP
Speech-Language Pathologist and President of Bilinguistics
Scott Prath, M.A., CCC-SLP
Speech-Language Pathologist and Vice President of Bilinguistics
Phuong Palafox, M.S., CCC-SLP
Speech-Language Pathologist and Lead SLP at Bilinguistics
We are researchers who test our theories out on real caseloads. We are national and international presenters who share our successes with the people who matter most. We are authors who get our materials in your hands to make your job easier, faster, and more fun.
Most importantly, we are you.
We are speech-language pathologists who carry caseloads in the schools, homes, and our clinic. We know what you face every day, and we know how to improve it.
Experience & Credentials
Whatever you want to accomplish, whether it is to be better at a certain skill, publish materials, start a business, present workshops, or obtain better work-life balance, we can help you get there.
All I have to say is just WOW. This is amazing! This is exactly what I was looking for. I am spreading the word. What an amazing resource!
Thank you so much!
SLP - North Carolina
“The presenters were great. I didn’t know anything at all about this, I learned very much today. Thank you this was an excellent training!”
SLP - 10 years experience
I wanted to let you know I took your course and it was great. You put out such great and needed materials and information especially for people who work with a lot of Spanish speaking kids. It was honestly the best information I have heard for the population I work with.
Ruth Solis - 13 years experience
“I am inspired by the knowledgeable presenters. They were both very helpful + well spoken. I feel I have a better understanding of how I can help the children I work with build stronger communication skills.”
Holly Delgado - SLP Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Is this program right for me?
This program will benefit anyone who wants to improve their understanding and real-world application of what it takes to be a highly effective speech-language pathologist. For more than a decade we have been researching, presenting nationally and internationally, publishing materials, and running an online community with over 10,000 members.
Two things are abundantly clear:
1) Our job is getting increasingly harder with increases in caseloads and diversity and decreases in funding and staffing.
2) Some speech-language pathologists are absolutely knocking it out of the park with how quickly and effectively they treat and evaluate students, and interact with other professionals. They are also happy and well-balanced.
The good news is that this is easily achievable by you too. It takes a little time but there is no magic formula. Successful speech-language pathologists simply know more about certain strategies, have effective materials, and have a community to rely on. This program is right for you if you want to learn how to spend more of your day doing the good stuff, and less of your day doing the stuff that makes you want to quit.
Are American Speech-Language Hearing Association Continuing Education Units (ASHA CEUs) provided for webinars and Q & A sessions?

Do I need to have my CCCs to join? Can I be a Clinical Fellow or Speech Assistant?
Kudos to you if you are at the beginning of your career and looking for ways to collaborate with others! SLP Impact contains all of the information that we wish we had at the beginning of our career and so much more! University programs are indeed doing a good job at preparing new SLPs for the field but, given the breadth of our field, it is impossible for them to prepare you for all of the realities we face on the ground.
This is where we come in. The Master Classes delve deep into real caseloads that are large and incredibly diverse. The Online CEU Courses provide robust information in areas where you feel you need help. The SLP Question Forum is a place to get guidance and save yourself time and energy. No need to wait for your CCCs to start learning how to do your job effectively.
How much does SLP Impact Cost?
Charter members pay $19/month or $199 annually. Payment entitles you to access all classes, courses, question forums, the video library, and downloadable materials. The price will increase after the charter member offer but you will be grandfathered in at the charter price as long as you maintain your membership.
Additionally, as an SLP Impact Member you receive a 20% discount off of all books published by Bilinguistics. These popular titles include: Curriculum-based Speech Therapy Activities, Literacy-Based Speech and Language Therapy, Difference or Disorder? Understanding Speech and Language Patterns in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Students, and many more.
What if I can't make the monthly Master Class?
Each Master Class is presented live during the second week of each month. It is recorded and available until the last day of the month when the next class begins. Simply download the handouts and free materials, watch the class, and print off your ASHA CEU certificate when you are finished.
Is there a refund policy?
If you’re not satisfied with SLP Impact, you can email us to request a full refund within 30 days of purchase. Any CEUs taken during a time that is refunded will not be reported to ASHA for credit. Also, you are free to unsubscribe at any time.
What if I have questions or need support?
